Overview

A year of craft, progress and impact

If 2024 was a year of transformation – a new name, a new identity, a sharper sense of purpose – then 2025 was the year we got on with it.

With the big decisions behind us, we turned our attention to the work itself: deepening our partnerships, sharpening our processes, and continuing to build out the Impact Experience (IX) methodology that underpins everything we do.

It wasn’t a year of dramatic announcements. It was a year of craft and consolidation – and we’re proud of the progress it represents.

Purpose and vision

2025 brought a shift in the global mood.

Political changes have created a more challenging environment for the kind of work our partners do – with funding pressures, shifting policy landscapes, and growing scrutiny of international organisations.

And yet the response, almost universally, has been to double down – to communicate more clearly, engage more widely, and make the case in an ever-more compelling way.

This only strengthens our commitment to our purpose and vision.

Our purpose:

To help mission-driven organisations turn their ideas into digital platforms that do good* in the world.

We work exclusively with for-impact organisations – coalitions, foundations, thought leaders, and campaigners working to create real change in the world. By using our Impact Experience (IX) design methodology, we translate their purpose into digital platforms that don’t just communicate what they do, but give people meaningful ways to act.

*What ‘good’ looks like:

A world that is environmentally regenerative, socially resilient and institutionally reformed.

Environmental regeneration

Nature is not subject to systematically increasing societal extraction (fossil carbon, metals etc.), pollution (NOx, CFCs etc.) or degradation (deforestation, over-fishing etc.).

Societal
resilience

All people have the opportunity and capacity to lead engaged, meaningful and fulfilling lives that protect the health of ecosystems and communities.

Institutional
reform

All global structures, institutions and governance systems drive the pursuit of an inclusive planet-positive economy.

B Corporation

We must not underestimate the role of our business beyond our work – its environmental impacts, how it is governed, and how it supports communities.

We became a certified B Corp in 2023, scoring 113.9 points against the B Impact Assessment – well above the 80-point threshold. But certification has never been the point in itself. It’s a commitment to continuous improvement across every part of how we operate: how we work, who we work with, and the mark we leave on our communities and environment.

In 2025, B Lab launched a new set of Standards – a significant update to the framework that all B Corps will be assessed against going forward. Our current certification has been extended while we get to grips with the new requirements, and we’ll be going through the full recertification process in 2026. It feels like a timely moment to take stock – and this report is part of that process.
