How you work day-to-day says as much about your values as what you work on.
We’re founder-led, because we love our craft. Lucy and Chris lead every project, supported by a trusted network of developers, copywriters, and specialists.
And the way we run the business reflects the same principles we bring to client work – putting people and planet first. We’re fully-remote, four-days-a-week, and deliberate about every operational decision.
We also continued to meet regularly with our Advisory Board throughout 2025, providing perspective and challenge as we developed our methodology and prepare for B Corp recertification.
2025 Highlights
As a screen-based business, staying connected to the natural world is something we take seriously – it’s a reminder of what we’re working to protect. This year we held our first annual nature-based away day: a woodland walk in Staffordshire, where we took the opportunity to reflect on the company, its processes, and its future through a nature-inspired lens. We plan to make this an annual tradition.
We revisited the induction surveys we send to contractors, freelancers, and suppliers before working together. We wanted to make sure they were asking the right questions to ensure genuine alignment – covering the types of organisations collaborators work with, any climate conflict areas or controversial sectors, and how they track their own energy use and waste.
Plans for the future
We’ve attended workshops and webinars with Small99 and Giki Actions to explore how to better understand and reduce our environmental footprint. We’re exploring the right solutions, but the goal is clear: to develop a formalised sustainability plan for the business – one that goes beyond tracking energy use and gives us a structured way to measure and improve our impact over time.
B Lab’s new Standards ask more of businesses on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion – and rightly so. In 2026 we will take steps to formalise our commitment in this area, beginning with an honest assessment of where we stand and identifying the most meaningful actions we can take as a small studio.
